Tritan Tubing, The Largest Anywhere

Tritan: Our first extrusion of Tritan tubing was big in itself. It produced the largest Tritan tube in America to that point. The 5″ OD x .250w tube was designed for a home-consumer company.

Now we extrude Tritan up to 10″ in diameter.

Tritan is a monster tube. It has been chosen for over 600 food-contact products ranging from serving and storing items to reusable sports bottles, infant-care products, medical devices, and small appliances. It has excellent impact strength, high-temperature resistance and holds up to high pressures without crazing.

Eastman Tritan™ is an amorphous copolyester with excellent appearance and clarity. It has excellent toughness, hydrolytic stability, and heat and chemical resistance.

Within a year we were up to 6.5″OD.

Below is a 6.5″ OD Tritan tube along with some fabricated Tritan sheet.

Then 7″ Tritan with a 0.375 wall. This tubing is used for conveying coffee amongst other things. It is a brute.
