Today we had a request for an expanded sight glass/coupler. This is an easy blog to write because we don’t have any idea what this is being used for. Yet, it made a nice picture and it’s just one more for the record. We made this by a special process we developed to make ‘made to order’ bells from our tubing without extensive tooling costs. We make thousands of bells to order and such small orders do not lend themselves to expensive setups that would be used, for example, in PVC pipe. The trick is to make them look as though we used the expensive tooling.
It looks like a big hydrometer to me.
