Busada’s government business is spearheaded by Mike Menahem, MBA. Mr. Menahem is a subject matter expert in the field of government contracting. His role is to manage the company’s SAM registration, making sure the CAGE code is up-to-date. His department also makes sure that the NAICS codes for manufacturing for Busada, which are 326199, 325211, and 326100.
The Government Business Department pursues public sector RFQs on a daily basis, mostly in the federal market on the beta.sam.gov website. The department will prepare proposals and quotes in response to these government manufacturing solicitations. With the estimating and quoting help of the Busada staff, a proposal/quote will be submitted in a timely manner.
The public sector group will also go after RFIs and sources sought solicitations that have to do with manufacturing when they become available when the government is seeking information, doing market research, and searching the industry for a particular product that will meet their needs. Currently, the group is seeking to work with USAID for the purpose of infrastructure and water system upgrades for foreign countries and their water pipes and tubes.
