The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia launched a new exhibit called Wondrous Space on November 4, 2023. This two-story future-focused exhibit on space exploration marks the first in a series of all-new thematic exhibits that will lead The Franklin Institute through its bicentennial in 2024. The immersive, multisensory exhibit is designed to inspire excitement for space science as it takes visitors on a journey through the cosmos as they explore the incredible size and scale of celestial bodies. Our part was to make the LED tubing. The longer the tube (wave) the deeper the sounds that it makes. This is done in stunning detail as sound is displayed through our Stratus-tubing line with changing colors moving through the tubing.

The Voice Wave exhibit seamlessly blends artistry and technology, inviting visitors to engage with sound in ways they never thought possible. We are honored to be a part of this exhibit.

The Wonderous Space exhibit at The Franklin Institute is features a custom-designed LED installation developed and fabricated by Busada. It Features precision-bent LED tubing tailored to the exhibit’s spatial and thematic specifications, the display offers visitors an immersive experience that bridges art, technology, and imagination. This video captures the final installation as seen on-site in Philadelphia, celebrating the creative engineering behind the light that gives the exhibit its signature glow.
