Mandy McGarrigle, an emerging young fashion designer, requested a clear plastic hoop as an accessory in a fashion show. She needed a 1″ OD tube with a thin wall bent upon a 12.625″ center radius. We are used to providing prototypes and we went to work on her bend.

Mandy is a recent graduate of Moore College of Art & Design where she received degrees in fashion and business. We enjoyed her enthusiastic and detailed approach. She displayed her “Zone III” collection recently at The Barnes Foundation in NYC. Mandy is inspired by municipal architecture, and especially bridges. We see this in her fashion design. Her most influential artists/architects include Norman Foster, Marja Van Bochove, Zaha Hadid, and Ying Gao. Here it is from conception to design. Way to go Mandy!
