Round To Rectangular Tubing

Often our customers need a specialized rectangular tube, but not enough to justify the expense of tooling and an extrusion run. Our answer is to fabricate from round. Recently, a customer needed a simple 4″ x 5″ rectangular tube and bend. By secondary fabrication procedures created straight lengths of 100″ and a provided bends on both the major and minor axes.

Often, our customers will test their ideas with our fabricated tubing, and then return to order a full extrusion run.

If you are in need of a rectangular tube with a minimum wall of .125 and a maximum perimeter of 32″ we probably can make it for you in butyrate (CAB), Provista (PETG), polycarbonate, acrylic, or PVC.

We mark off bends according to orientation.

Back in 2015, we made the largest bend in company history through this method.
